Our home rink is the Greeley Ice Haus, a state-of-the-art, NHL-sized ice arena with seating for nearly 1000 spectators. The facility was built in 2005 and is managed by the City of Greeley Department of Leisure Services. The MVSC is a member of the United States Figure Skating Association.

Greeley Skaters Rake in the Medals at Rocky Mountain State Games and Colorado Basic Skills Series

For the past eight months the figure skaters of Greeley who call the Greeley Ice Haus their home rink have been skating long hours several days a week in pursuit of reaching long term goals they set for themselves early in the skating season. All their hard work in attaining process goals, like mastering specific jumps and spins, paid off September 11-15 at the Rocky Mountain State Games held in Colorado Springs, Colorado, at the Sertich Ice Arena. A total of 9 skaters from the Mountain View Skating Club participated in the skating competition. Mountain View Skating Club is a nonprofit organization that provides opportunities to help skaters fulfill their
skating goals.
Skaters who placed first through third in their level and event qualified for the State Games of America, which will be held next summer in Lincoln, Nebraska.
In the Colorado Basic Skills Series, Mountain View Skating Club placed 2nd overall for total team points and 3 club members placed in the top three overall for their level. This is a fantastic accomplishment for each of these skaters, who were guided by their coach, MVSC member Kayla Fauria.
